Workshop on Computational Models in Biology and Medicine 2024
Abstract
The joint workshop of the GMDS/IBS-DR working groups ‘Mathematical Models in Medicine and Biology’ and ‘Statistical Methods in Bioinformatics’ will take place in Dresden on 6th and 7th June 2024. This workshop intends to bring together researchers from different research areas such as systems biology, bioinformatics, and biostatistics, who are interested in modeling and analysis of biological systems or in the development of statistical methods with applications in biology and medicine. The workshop is funded by ‘Deutsche Gesellschaft für Medizinische Informatik, Biometrie und Epidemiologie (GMDS)’ and ‘Deutsche Region der Internationalen Biometrischen Gesellschaft (IBS-DR)’. Topics: Models and AI in translational medicine, integration of different data types into computational models, genomics and proteomics and single-cell data analysis. There is no registration fee for the workshop.
